The Panthers End the Regular Season with an Exciting Win
over the Dekaney Wildcats
28 - 13

Klein Oak ended the regular season a much different team than they started the season. When they began, they were young and inexperienced. Now they are a seasoned team with a much more confident offense and a fierce defense. Hopefully we can watch them continue their winning streak in the playoffs, but regardless how this season turns out, they will be a powerful force in district 13-5A in 2010 (more...)

Klein Oak Dominates
the Westfield Mustangs
35 - 21

The Panthers take the field at 8:15 pm to start pre-game warm up. The game was scheduled to start at 7:30. One problem zero power in the stadium. A few minutes past eight the first section of lights come on….. Oak hits full stride on the second drive handing Westfield their 3rd loss of the season (more...)

Klein Oak Beats
Spring With Last Second
Scoring Drive 42 - 38

Klein Oak Panthers and the Spring Lions come out of the starting gate in a full gallop throwing 28 first quarter points on the board.  Then with 7:21 left in the 3rd quarter the Lions lead 28 – 14 (more...)

Klein Oak Loses
Homecoming Game 9 - 28

Klein Oak Panthers hit the field hotter-than-rocks-in-a-forest-fire moving the ball down the field at will ……. and then ……  like water dousing flames of hope four first half turnovers cool their jets (more...)

PANTHERS WIN!
The Panthers Beat the
Tomball Cougars 27 - 20

On a cool Friday night in October, Klein Oak meets Tomball in the Mud Bowl of 2009.  Heavy rains all week soaked the natural grass fields at Tomball Stadium (more...)

Panthers Come Up Short
Against Klein 10 - 17

Despite the incredible runs by Nicky Baratti, totally 175 yards, and the great defensive plays of Luke Muncie, the Panthers were unable to put enough points on the board to beat the Bearkats. (more...)

Panthers Challenge Klein Forest But Run Out of Time
34 - 39

Klein Oak would not give up and fought back to pull within 5 points of the Eagles. The Defense held the Eagles to an astounding 253 yards of total offense. The Panther offense racked up 433 yards against the Eagles, however it still wasn't enough. The Panthers made a last effort to pull ahead with 45 seconds to go and 75 yards between them and the win. Unfortunately, time ran out before they got there (more...)

Panthers Fall to the Wildcats
56 - 23

Cy Woods' passing game was too much for the Panthers to handle. The Wildcats completed 16 passes for a total of 442 yards. The Panthers have a bye week next week which should give them plenty of time to regroup as they begin district play on September 24th against the Klein Forest Eagles.

Panthers Come Up Short
Against Notre Dame
Lose 37 - 7

The Panthers, eager to get their season on track, traveled to Arlington to take on the Notre Dame Knights from California, in the Kirk Herbstreit Texas Football Classic at Cowboy's Stadium.

After back and forth possessions with no one scoring, the Knights scored first. The Panthers returned the favor and scored on a pass from Andy Wilson to Tory Waites. On the next possession, the Knights threw a double pass, back to the quarterback, who scrambled in for a touchdown. At half time, the score was 14-7 with the Knights ahead.

The Panthers never got their footing during the second half and allowed 23 more points for a final score of 37-7.

Panthers Lose Season Opener

Klein Oak opened the 2009 season against Cy Creek. A team that the Panthers defeated twice in 2008. The Panthers had the lead until late in the game when the Cougars rallied to score 2 touchdowns in the closing minutes of the game to defeat the Panthers 23 - 17.
