Alex likes passing the football, but not

Davis #76 - Offensive Line - Junior - 2003
Andy has been playing football for seven years and his best memory to date
is going to the Super Bowl. He likes pancaking people but doesn’t like
practices. Andrew hopes to play ball in college and would like to beat the
Woodlands this year. He credits his mother and grandpa as being the most
positive influences in his life. When not playing ball, Andrew enjoys girls,
baseball, cars, music, and eating pizza.
Anthony Flory #75 - Offensive Line - Junior - 2003
Anthony’s best memory of the game so far is catching two passes in one game.
He has been playing football for four years and believes the game keeps you
in the best condition possible. Anthony plans on attending college,
hopefully Texas A&M upon graduation from Oak. He credits his dad as being
the biggest influence in his life because he always encourages him. He
thanks the coaches for keeping him in line and making sure he is doing what
he is supposed to be accomplishing. When not playing ball, Anthony likes to
hang out, eat crawfish, and watch the Texans.
Avery Johnson - #9 - Running Back - Senior - 2003
Avery “lives and breathes football.” He has been playing for nine years and
likes everything about the game except the heat. He believes he can go to a
Division 1 college and play ball after graduation from Oak. Avery believes
his mom is a saint and credits her and his coaches as being big influences
in his life.
Beau
Harris #30 - Defensive Line - Senior - 2003
Beau has been playing football for six years and likes having somebody right
next to you fighting to reach a goal. Beau appreciates how the game teaches
you to work hard, and he looks forward to beating the Woodlands this year.
Beau would like to continue playing football in college. He credits his
mother and grandparents as being the most positive influences in his life.
Brad
Dear #35 - Defensive/Running Back - Junior - 2003
This is Brad’s second year to play football, and his most vivid memory is
starting as a player at Oak. He enjoys the competition and says the sport
has made him learn a lot about himself. He plans to attend college and
credits his parents as being positive influences in his life. Brad hopes to
become a varsity player, helping the team to be successful. When not playing
ball, Brad likes to play basketball, go to the movies, and eat lasagna.
This is Brandon’s senior year at Klein Oak. He has been playing football for
six years and vividly remembers his first touchdown. He appreciates the
self-discipline associated with the sport and expects his teammates to be
dedicated. He hopes to pursue a career in engineering at a Texas college and
credits his family and coaches as being positive influences in his life.
When not playing football, Brandon enjoys lifting weights, pole vaulting and

Robert Harvey #72 - Offensive Line - Senior - 2003
Brett is a senior this year who enjoys eating cheeseburgers and playing
video games when not on the practice field. This is Brett’s sixth year to
play ball. His best memory of the sport is when the Panthers beat Conroe 42
to 6 his freshman year. He enjoys hitting but hates losing after working
hard all week. Brett plans to attend college and credits his dad as being
the biggest influence in his life because of his strong work ethic. When not
playing ball, Brett likes to play video games and eat cheeseburgers.
Bryce
Hudman #10 - Running/Defensive Back - Captain - Jr. - 2003
Bryce has been playing football for eight years. He likes the contact and
hitting of the sport, but doesn’t especially enjoy the practices. Bryce
hopes to continue playing ball in a D1 college anywhere he might be able to
obtain a scholarship. He hopes to develop a career in architecture. He
credits Jesus as the biggest influence in his life. He thanks his coaches
for helping to make him a mature young man. His outsides interests include
girls and cars.
Casey
Wright #11 - Receiver/Defensive Back - Junior - 2003
Casey likes the hard hitting but not the heat associated with football. He
has been playing ball for four years and plans on participating in the sport
into college. He hopes to attend the University of Texas after graduating from Oak. Casey credits God, his family, and his
coaches as being the biggest influences in his life. He appreciates the
discipline and responsibility they demand of him. When not playing ball,
Casey enjoys track and eating anything cheap and messy.

Boren #89 - Defensive End - Sophomore - 2003
Chris remembers all his touchdowns as his best football memories. He likes
the physical side of the sport and being able to hit someone without getting
in trouble. Chris has played ball for four years and would like to continue
playing in college. A team goal he has for the year is to beat Klein
Collins. He believes football is a good way to keep a person out of trouble
and focused on a goal. He credits his brother and his friends as being the
biggest influences in his life. His outside interests are playing guitar,
track, skating, and listening to music.

When not playing football, Chris enjoys paintballing, eating hamburgers, and
watching the Texans. He has played ball for eight years and likes to win.
The most positive aspect of the game he believes is getting to hit people

Powell #12 - Running/Defensive Back - Junior - 2003
Chris is interested in many sports: basketball, baseball, track, and
football. He began playing football in McKinney, Texas,
in seventh grade. His best memory of the game is scoring three touchdowns
against Westfield. He appreciates the teamwork it takes to be successful. He
plans to attend college after graduating from Oak and gives credit to his
brother and his coaches for keeping him involved in sports.
This is Craig’s fifth year to play ball, and his best memory is when Oak
beat the number one team at the time, the Woodlands. He enjoys the aspect of
“team” best and practicing in the heat least. Craig hopes to attend college
and credits his family and friends as the most positive aspects of his life.
A team goal for the year is to beat Tomball; “It’s the glory that makes it
all worthwhile.” When not participating in Oak theatre or football, Craig
enjoys visiting the all you can eat buffets.
Daniel McGilvray #44 - Running/Defensive Back - Sophomore - 2003
Daniel’s best football memory is running a sixty yard touchdown. After
playing the sport for four years, he says hitting and the adrenalin rushes
are what he likes most. He believes the positive aspects of football are the
demand it puts on you to get in shape and the fact that you can hit people
legally. Daniel admires Vince Lombardi for his inspirational speeches and
his coaches for teaching him to work hard and never quit. Daniel’s outside
interests include lacrosse, hockey, baseball, golf and Chinese food.
David Porter #4 - Quarterback - Sophomore - 2003
David began playing football three years ago and is also interested in
basketball and track. He likes beating the defense and remembers the game
Oak beat Spring High 30-6. The rival he wants to beat most is Klein High. He
plans to attend college after graduation and credits his dad as being the
biggest influence in his life. When not playing ball, David likes to
participate in basketball and track , eat shrimp, and watch the Mavericks.

Williamson #55 - Linebacker - Junior - 2003
David has played football for two years at Klein Oak and his best memory to
date is spring training. He likes the physical aspects of the game and the
mental training it provides. He hopes to prove to the coaches that he can
“go and get it.” He plans on attending college after graduating from Oak. He
credits his coaches as being one of the biggest influences in his life
because of their positive attitudes. He likes to play baseball, spend time
with his family, and eat hamburgers when not playing football.
Drew
Johnson #65 - Offensive Line - Senior - 2003
This is Drew’s fourth year to play football. He
enjoys knocking something over that is bigger than he is and complains that
the games are just too short. He is also involved in AFJROTC, Student
Council and church activities. He admires his grandmother the most and
credits Colonel LeBlanc and Sgt. Bancroft for being a big influence for
demonstrating the meaning of discipline and self-sacrifice. His future plans
include college and he hopes to become a military officer.
Dustin Conant #20 - Running/Defensive Back - Junior - 2003
Dustin has been playing football since the eighth grade. His best memory to
date is when Bryce Hudman threw a touchdown pass to him, winning the game.
He likes running the ball but not practicing or losing. Dustin hopes to
attend college and play ball wherever he can get a scholarship. He plans on
developing a career in architecture. He looks forward to beating Tomball,
Spring and Klein this year. Dustin credits his dad as being the biggest
influence in his life because of his strong belief in him and thanks Bryce
for being a good friend. His outside interests include racing his truck,
being with the ladies, and eating steak with a baked potato.
Eric
Wachel #26 - Defensive Back - Junior - 2003
Besides enjoying football, Eric likes to motorcross. This is his ninth year
to play ball and hopes to be listed among the top ten defensive backs. He
appreciates the demand of the sport to get in the best physical shape
possible. He hopes to attend UT or Texas Tech and credits his dad as being
the biggest influence in his life because he always fights to be the best.
When not playing ball, Eric likes to motorcross and eat Chinese food.
Grant
Campbell #64 - Center - Captain - Senior - 2003
Grant has been playing football for eight years and his best memory to date
is beating #1 ranked Woodlands his sophomore year. He likes to play the
games but doesn’t really like to practice. He believes football is a great
way to develop team work and provides an avenue to push yourself beyond your
own limits. He credits his dad as being the biggest influence in his life
because he has taught him to be fair and to work hard, no matter what the
situation. He thanks Coach Poth for pushing him to be the best he can be.
When not playing ball, Grant enjoys baseball, hanging out with friends, and
watching the Astros.
Greg has been playing football for three years and hopes to continue playing
ball in college. He likes the summer program at Oak and thanks the coaches
for being a positive influence at school. He credits his dad as being the
most important influence in his life. When not playing ball, Greg likes
paintballing and eating “taters.”
James D'Antoni #48 - Linebacker - Junior - 2003
James has been playing football for four years and a personal goal is making
it to the playoffs. He enjoys winning and participating in football because
it’s a team sport. James hopes to attend college after graduating from Oak.
He credits his friends for helping him to make the right decisions. When not
playing ball, James enjoys being outdoors, hunting and fishing.

This is the seventh year James has played football. He wants to beat Tomball
the most this year. James hopes to continue to play football after high
school, possibly attending Sam Houston. He credits his grandpa as being the
biggest influence in his life. He says of him, “He is so great!” When not
playing ball, James enjoys Ag, eating crawfish, and watching the Broncos.
Jeff
Hoppas #16 - Defensive Back - Junior - 2003
When not eating pizza, spending time with his family, or watching “King of
the Hill”, Jeff enjoys playing football. He has played ball since the eighth
grade at Hildebrandt. He enjoys everything about the sport and one of his
goals for the team this year is to beat the Woodlands. He hopes to attend
Texas A&M and credits his dad and his coaches as being the most positive
influences in his life.
Joseph Villanueva #62 - Offensive/Defensive Line - Junior - 2003
Joseph’s best memory of football so far is picking up a fumble and running
it in for a touchdown. He has been playing ball since the sixth grade and
enjoys the aspect of teamwork the best. He doesn’t like practicing in the
heat. Joseph hopes to attend college after graduating from Oak, although
he’s not sure where. He credits his mom and friends as being the biggest
influences in his life. His other interests include the violin, PS2, Frisbee
golf, and “all you can eat buffets.”
Joshua lists his interests as cars, weight lifting, girls, and football. He
appreciates the fact that football demands good physical fitness and wants
Oak to beat Klein High this season. Joshua has been playing ball for five
years and his best memory so far is when the coaches moved him to play
tailback. He hates to lose and wants to play football in college where he
will work towards becoming an architect. He credits his coaches and the
athlete Mike Allstot as being the biggest influences in his life.

Kenneth’s best football memory to date is making the last tackle in eighth
grade to win against Strack. He has played ball for five years, likes
hitting the best and conditioning the least. He wants to show colleges that
he is a dedicated player and hopes to attend Rice or the University of
Texas. He credits his parents as being the biggest influence in his life.
When not playing ball, Kenneth likes to participate in baseball, eat steak,

Kicker - Junior - 2003
This is Kevin’s first year to play football.
Aside from Kicking, he enjoys tackling his opponents. Kevin had a blast when
the team beat Klein for Homecoming. He would love to have opportunity to
play football in college. While not practicing his kicks, Kevin plays soccer
for Oak.
Kevin Cravey #8 - Quarterback - Sophomore - 2003
Kevin began playing football in eighth grade in Louisiana. His best memory
so far is winning the Parish championship that same year. Kevin likes the
fans and cheerleaders but dislikes losing. He hopes to attend LSU upon
graduating from Oak. When not playing football, Kevin likes to participate
in basketball, baseball, and golf.

Hunter #81 - Defensive End - Junior - 2003
Matt has been on the gridiron since fifth grade. His most memorable moment
was winning the Super Bowl with the Klein Oilers. A team goal he has for the
year is to beat the Woodlands. Matt plans to attend college and credits his
parents for being the biggest influence in his life. Matt lettered in
wrestling his freshman and sophomore year and also plays baseball for Oak.

Matt has been playing football for four years, and his best memory to date
is “dragging Westfield on his back” while running. He likes hitting and the
fitness the game requires, but doesn’t like the heat. He wants to pursue

enjoys eating and watching Green Bay play.
Matthew Hetmaniak #59 - Center/Defensive Tackle - Junior - 2003
Matt has been playing football since he was five years old. His favorite
memory is a 14-1 winning season and capturing the Youth Super Bowl title.
After high school graduation, Matt hopes to attend The University of Texas.
Matt’s dad is the most positive influence in his life because he makes him
work hard. Besides playing ball, Matt likes to hunt and fish. One of his

Barrios #25-
Receiver - Senior - 2003
Ruben has been playing football for five years and
remembers sacking the quarterback for a safety as one of his best memories.
He likes to win, hates to lose, and likes the fact that football lets you
make a lot of friends. Ruben would like to make the playoffs while playing
at Oak and hopes to play college football while pursuing a career in
mechanical engineering. He credits his uncle as being one of the biggest
influences in his life because he told him he will achieve his goals if he
wants to. Outside of football, Ruben likes to play basketball and eat
macaroni.
Scooter Manning #19 - Defensive Back - Junior - 2003
Scooter’s best football memory is running an 80 yard touchdown in seventh
grade. This is his seventh year to play ball; he likes running the ball best
of all. Scooter hopes to do everything possible to be a good player at Klein
Oak with the hopes of someday becoming a pro football player. He credits his
brother, mom, and dad as being the best influences in his life, but also
thanks friends and teachers for helping him. When not playing ball, Scooter

Scott has been playing football for two years, and his best memory to date
is beating Westfield his JV year. He knows no one else can handle what the
football team does and appreciates the discipline, strength, and fun the
game provides. Scott hopes to be the best he can be physically and mentally
by his senior year. He plans on attending college after graduation from Oak,
hopefully Sam Houston. He credits God as being the biggest influence in his

Sherrod has been playing football for two years and has enjoyed playing
running back and wing during his freshman year. During his football career,
his goal is to become the best that he can be. He hopes to attend college

Steph ‘s best memory of the sport so far is going to the Super Bowl for
three years. He has been playing football for eight years and likes sacking
the quarterback. A couple of Steph’s goals are to obtain a scholarship to
college and beat the Woodlands. He credits his mom and dad as being the
biggest influences in his life. When not playing ball, Steph enjoys girls,
paintball, cars, and watching the Longhorns.
Sydney WIlliams #6-
Defensive Back - Sophomore - 2003
Sidney has been playing football since the
seventh grade and his best memory to date is getting five sacs in one game.
He enjoys learning the techniques of every position and appreciates the
attitudes football develops of "never give up" and "never say can’t." He
admires Kurt Ware for his leadership abilities and his willingness to offer
help. Sidney plans on attending college after graduation from Oak and hopes
to have his own business someday. His outside interests are track and
reading.
Theron Matthews #40 - Defensive Back - Senior - 2003
Theron’s best memory of football so far is winning his first game. He has
been playing ball for two years. He likes walking out into the empty stadium
before a game but doesn’t like watching other teams celebrate. A team goal
he has for the season is to beat KleinForest.
Theron hopes to continue playing football in college, hopefully at A&M. He
credits his parents as being the biggest influence in his life, and his
favorite thing about his team is their “will to win.” Listed favorites are
spaghetti, Happy Gilmore, and the Steelers.

Receiver - Senior - 2003
Tory has been playing football "all his life"
and hopes to continue to play football in college, preferably in Tennessee.
He looks up to his brother because he has always done the right thing. Tory
would like to thank Coach Smith for believing in him as an athlete and as a
student. When not playing football, Tory likes basketball, track and music
and watching the Atlanta Falcons.
Trace
Brown #77 - Offensive Line - Junior - 2003
Trace has been playing football for four years and hates standing on the
sidelines. His best memory so far is the Conroe game, and a team goal for the year is to once again beat the Woodlands. He
plans on attending college after graduation and credits his dad as being the
biggest influence in his life. When not playing football, Trace likes to eat
anything edible and play baseball.
Tremayne has been playing football for eleven years. He is still looking for
his best memory, but thinks it’s important to go into the game in the name
of Jesus. He looks forward to beating Tomball this year. Tremayne hopes to
attend TCU after graduating from Oak and develop a career in animation. He
credits his dad as being a great influence in his life because he has taught
him to use his head. He thanks Derrick Brown for taking care of him on the
field. When not playing ball, Tremayne likes to draw, spend time with family
and friends, and eat steak.
Trey Richmond #33 - Running Back - Junior - 2003
Trey’s best football memory is his first varsity touchdown. He has been
playing ball for seven years and when asked what he likes best about the
sport he wrote, “Running over the defense.” Trey plans to go to college and
believes God is the biggest influence on his life because of the push toward
perfection. A team goal for the year is to beat Klein Forest. When not
playing football, Trey likes to play basketball and eat chicken fried steak.
Woody
Smith #36 - Defensive Back/Receiver - Junior - 2003
Woody has been playing football for eight years, and his best memory to date
is returning a defensive fumble for a touchdown. Woody looks forward to
beating Westfield this year and if he had the chance, would tell others
about the opportunities football provides to develop leadership. Woody plans
on attending college and hopes to continue to play football past graduation
from Oak. He credits his dad as being one the biggest influences in his life
because he is so hard working. Woody enjoys cars, baseball, and eating
crawfish when not playing ball.
Relatively new to the game, this is Theron’s second year of
football. He enjoys the discipline the game has taught him along with the basics
of good fitness. He credits Coach Smith for convincing him to play and his
parents for their never-ending support. After high school, Theron would like to
attend Texas A&M University where he will pursue a bachelor’s degree in
Mechanical Engineering and a master’s in Business Administration.
