The JV Black Panthers controlled the game from start to finish defeating the Spring Lions, 28 – 7, on a cold clear evening at Klein Oak field.  The offense ground out several long drives, the defense took the ball away from the Lions and the special teams set up field position several times (more...)

Defensive Battle to Klein Collins

The JV Black gathered at the dark, slippery field of Collins and lost a close one to the neighborhood Tigers, 0 – 7.  Both teams scored once, alas the Panther score was nullified by a mysterious yellow hanky and since there is no crying in football, the JV Black consoled their selves with a battle hard-fought. Tomball Cougars

The JV Black played at Klein Memorial Stadium against district foe Tomball and the bright lights and field turf helped inspire the Panthers to an exciting win, 22-18. Injuries forced a lot of substitutions to the roster but the team meshed to mash the visiting Cougars. (more...)

The Black JV team had a rough night at the Klein High field losing 8 – 29.  The team experienced lots of player changes this week, injuries (bad) and promotions to varsity (good).  The offense timing was off and the defense struggled with the power game of KHS.  The boys will persevere and the fans won’t lose hope over one bad night. The first cold front of the season brought a change of weather and change of fortune for the Klein Oak JV Black team in a well-played 32 – 10 victory over the Klein Forest Eagles.  The first victory of the season came about because the offensive line was stout, the defense took the ball away and all the players played tough and with gusto (more...)

the Cy Woods Wildcats, 20 - 28

The Panthers were neck and neck with the Wildcats down the stretch. The Wildcats scored a last minute touchdown on a 95 yard pass play to beat the Panthers 28 - 20. (more...)

Klein Oak JV Black
Hit on the Chin, 13 – 22

The 2009 Klein Oak Junior Varsity Black squad opened up with the familiar Cypress Creek Cougars.  Most of the juniors on the Black squad played at Cypress Creek twice since arriving at Oak, winning both years on horribly hot days.  The Cypress Creek Cougars were the more determined team this year and returned the favor of the visiting team as the victor, Oak 13, Cy Creek 22.
